Indeed, the American story starts on Plymouth Rock and continues down Boston’s cobblestone streets. Take a stroll down Back Bay’s cosmopolitan streets and see all the ornate Victorian town houses, follow the 17th century streets of Boston’s North End to the historic hidden gems on Beacon Hill.
The city is best known for these 18th century/early 19th century buildings, but there are more than a few modern gems from a who’s who of 20th century visionaries including Le Corbusier, I.M. Pei, Frank Gehry, and more. For when you tire of history, Boston offers plenty of other activities for group incentive travel, including kayaking in the Boston River,
attending a sporting event at the storied Fenway Park, and wonderful shopping (and dining) at Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, where you’ll find the city’s famous clam chowder (which is called “chowda” here, by the way) along with other local favorites like lobster rolls, Boston cream pie, fish and chips, baked beans, and cannoli!
